Do we know what we are not?

We say "Hi" to everyone we know and even sometimes we say when we are 'actually' not interested in saying so! But why do we do so?

Anyways, here am simply putting across little bit of explanation about this strange behavior of ours, which surprisingly will let us know a lot about ourselves better.

First of all, intentionally and willingly, this is Sandeep here, saying a lovely 'Hi' to everyone in this whole beautiful world.

We all know what we are, either through our self-analysis or through others. But, have we ever thought of knowing what we are not? Negligibly I can say, most of us know what we are not, but, for some or the other reasons, we blindly ignore it, concentrating only on how to build up the character that we know what we are.

An expert knows what he/she is expert into and also knows what needs to be experted. When such a person is expert on something, there's is no meaning in becoming more expertise in it again, instead, there is some other thing (on which he/she is not expert) which he/she needs to have mastery. Huh, you all must be thinking, what rubbish all this is. Let me put it in another way.

I know I like the subject "physics/chemistry" and I also know that I have an excellence over this subject. But why am I getting less aggregate marks? I don't like "mathematics", because I am also weak in mathematics, so how much ever I try, am unable to digest this numerical subject maths. So, let me ignore mathematics, I will concentrate only on the subject that I am interested in and I will gain full score in the subject I like the most.

Hmm, now, I think, slowly you are able to understand what I am intending to explain. This example might seem a silly day-to-day experience, but, in our every life situations we experience this. Its not only about knowing what we are, but its equally becomes important to know what we are not. This will drag us in making us, the so called term 'perfectionist' and thereby a successful human being in our life as per our thoughts.

Its not just about gaining mastery over something, it about bringing excellence over everything. People may feel, its impossible, but, has anyone atleast tried doing so? I know, most of you may not even thought or not tried so. In a macro perspective this could be difficult and also very difficult, but its not impossible. Some of us might be experts in many things in a micro environment, but for such some of us, its time to again ask ourselves the question 'what I am not?'

Please Note: I just felt like putting across my idea over here. I am just another layman. If any of the above words or sentences have hurt anyone, kindly forgive. Wish you all a Wonderful Life ahead.
